Vice President, CommunicationInternational specialist in Marketing Communications, Gabriel has worked for the last 14 years in corporate communications and business development in international projects.
Gabriel is Vice President of Communications at Strands, a position he has held since December 2004. Before joining Strands he served as CEO of Saktec Robotics, a digital manufacturing company he co-founded in 2001. Gabriel served as Deputy Director of Communications at IE-Instituto de Empresa Business School handling International Communications. He previously worked in Brussels for Techware Consulting and the European Commission; in the Presidency of the Basque Government (Lehendakaritza) and for United Nations as International Observer and Electoral Supervisor in Bosnia and Croatia.
Gabriel holds a Degree in Information Sciences-Journalism from the University of the Basque Country (Bilbao). In 1998 he completed his International MBA at IE-Instituto de Empresa Business School in Madrid, with a specialty in strategy at the Cox School of Business (SMU) in Dallas, TX, USA.
