Senior Business Development Manager
We are looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager with a proven track record in business development and partnering activities in the wireless sector. In this position you are responsible for the business development of Strands? mobile products and services. You closely cooperate with product management and developers to build win-win relationships with our partners based on our offerings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Business development with wireless operators and handset manufacturers
- Partner and customer management
- Attending industry events, summits and workshops and leading follow-ups
- Sharing the Strands vision and our mobile offerings and technologies with the industry
- Identify emerging trends and adapt business strategies accordingly
- Creating business development material to ensure consistent messaging
- Ultimately responsible for generating leads and closing business deals
The suitable candidate for this position will have at least two years experience in business development. Our global business environment requires fluent spoken and written English. Additional language skills are considered a plus.
Qualifications
- Experience in business development with operators and handset manufacturers
- Familiar with J2ME, Symbian, RIM, mobile web technologies, etc.
- Experience in sharing vision and products
- Proven track record of creating partnerships in the wireless industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced business environment
- True self starter: Initiative, reliable and responsible with attention to details
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good verbal/written communication skills in English. Additional language skills are a plus.

Product Manager
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with strong project management skills to lead our mobile product developments. In this position you are responsible for the product management of our mobile products, including corresponding project management to turn vision into reality. You closely cooperate with our software developers to create superior mobile products fulfilling consumers' needs and exceeding their expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Product Management for mobile products
- Definition of product features and road map
- Managing product definitions in an agile development environment
- Day to day interactions with mobile developers
- Identify market trends and needs to identify opportunities to innovate
- Creating product documentation and marketing material to ensure consistent messaging
- Ultimately responsible for turning vision into reality

User Experience and Design
(Senior) Mobile User Experience / Interaction Designer
We are looking for an accomplished User Experience / Interaction Designer to further strengthen our mobile team. In this position you are responsible for defining UI specifications, conducting concept design and usability evaluations for our mobile products and experiences. You closely cooperate with our mobile software developers and other product units to create the best possible mobile user experience fulfilling consumers' needs and exceeding their expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct application requirements gathering
- Defining specs for development team to implement user centered features
- Drive the design in our iterative and collaborative development cycles
- Design and conduct usability tests, feeding the results into next iterations
- Participate in meetings to discuss solutions and new applications
The suitable candidate for this position will have a degree in a relevant field such as HCI, psychology, computer or other relevant sciences. Our global business environment requires fluent spoken and written English.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience in User Interface, User Experience and/or Interaction Design
- Significant experience in designing production user interfaces
- Strong ability to conduct requirements gathering
- The ability to take ownership of the user experience
- Proven ability to quantifiably improve application performance
- Initiative, reliable and responsible with attention to details
- Good verbal/written communication skills in English

We are looking for a test engineer to further strengthen our mobile team. In this position you are responsible for testing of our mobile products, handling consumer feedback and error reports. You closely cooperate with our mobile software developers and other product units to create the most reliable mobile user experience fulfilling consumers' needs and exceeding their expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Testing of our SW applications running on a variety of mobile platforms
- Defining test cases
- Setting up test environments
- Filing error reports and working with developers towards their resolution
- Handling feedback and error reports from external users
The suitable candidate for this position will have a degree in a relevant field such as computer science or another engineering discipline. Our global business environment requires fluent spoken and written English.
Qualifications
- Experience in software testing, preferably mobile software
- Experience in test management tools
- Test bed setup experience
- Genuine interest in software testing
- Initiative, reliable and responsible with attention to details
- Good verbal/written communication skills in English
